Responsibilities

• Safely transport hazardous materials while complying with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date transportation logs and documentation as required by law.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to confirm delivery schedules and report any issues or delays.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and securing loads.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all deliveries are conducted politely and professionally.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and meetings to remain current on hazardous material handling procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong driving record with proficiency in driving vehicles requiring a CDL A with Hazmat endorsement.
• Ability to manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with dispatchers and customers.
• Physical fitness and strength to handle manual loading and unloading when necessary.
• Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other logistics software.
