Local CDL A Shuttle Driver

TransForce Inc. seeks a Local CDL A Shuttle Driver to support regional transportation operations for our carrier and private fleet clients. In this role, you will run consistent local shuttle and terminal-to-terminal routes, moving freight safely and efficiently between hubs and customer locations. Responsibilities include conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and paperwork, securing loads, and adhering to DOT and company safety standards. You will interact professionally with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers while representing TransForce's safety-focused, service-oriented culture on every shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on local shuttle routes
• Transport freight between terminals, hubs, and customer sites
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain logs
• Follow DOT, company, and customer safety/compliance standards
• Secure loads and verify documentation and freight accuracy
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and route changes
• Provide professional, courteous service at pickup and delivery locations
• Report incidents, defects, or delays promptly to supervisors
