Ready Mix Plant Manager

CalPortland is seeking a Ready Mix Plant Manager to oversee daily operations of a ready-mix concrete plant within our mining and materials network. In this role, you will manage production scheduling, batching quality, inventory, and equipment reliability while ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. You will lead and develop plant staff, coordinate with dispatch, sales, and maintenance teams, and track KPIs to optimize productivity and cost. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the ready-mix concrete plant
• Manage production scheduling, batching, and quality control
• Monitor and maintain raw material and finished product inventory
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Lead, train, and mentor plant staff and production crews
• Coordinate with dispatch, sales, and maintenance teams to meet customer demand
• Track and analyze KPIs to improve productivity and control costs
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
