Ironworker Foreman

Messer Construction seeks an experienced Ironworker Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial projects. In this role, you'll coordinate structural steel erection, interpret blueprints, plan daily work, and uphold Messer's high safety and quality standards. You will supervise and mentor ironworkers, partner closely with site leadership, and ensure projects meet schedule and specification. Responsibilities

• Lead field crew in structural and miscellaneous steel erection for commercial and industrial projects
• Interpret blueprints and details to plan daily work, layout, and material needs
• Coordinate with superintendents, crane operators, and subcontractors to maintain schedule
• Enforce Messer safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA compliance
• Inspect ironwork quality, connections, and alignment; resolve installation issues
• Train and mentor ironworkers and apprentices, assigning tasks and monitoring productivity
• Complete daily reports, time entry, and material tracking accurately
• Communicate job progress, risks, and resource needs to project leadership
