Seasonal Howl-O-Scream Make-Up Artist

Join SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment's Howl-O-Scream team as a Seasonal Make-Up Artist creating chilling, immersive looks for haunted attractions and scare actors. You'll apply SFX and theatrical makeup, prosthetics, airbrush work, and face/body paint that withstands lighting, movement, and long nights. Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, work from design charts, and complete high volumes of artists on tight timelines. Collaborate with performers, costuming, and entertainment leaders to deliver consistent, on-brand characters and unforgettable guest experiences in a fast-paced, late-night, on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and apply SFX and theatrical makeup for Howl-O-Scream performers
• Use airbrush, prosthetics, and face/body paint to create durable character looks
• Follow design charts and creative direction to ensure brand consistency
• Prepare, clean, and sanitize makeup tools and workstations
• Work efficiently to process high volumes of performers on tight call times
• Collaborate with performers, costuming, and entertainment leaders
• Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and park operational standards
• Perform touch-ups and quick changes during event operations
• Assist with inventory, organization, and upkeep of makeup supplies
