Mortgage Desk Processor

GreenState Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Desk Processor to support our growing mortgage operations. In this role, you will review and process mortgage applications, verify documentation, ensure data accuracy, and maintain compliance with lending policies and regulations. You'll coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and members to gather required information and provide status updates. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working with financial data in a member-focused, collaborative environment and want to grow in the finance and insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Review and process mortgage applications for completeness and accuracy
• Verify income, assets, credit, and collateral documentation
• Enter and maintain accurate data in loan origination and core systems
• Communicate with members and loan officers to obtain required documentation
• Ensure files meet internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Track loan status and provide timely updates to stakeholders
• Collaborate with underwriting and closing teams to move loans to funding
• Maintain organized electronic records and follow confidentiality standards
• Identify and escalate potential issues or inconsistencies in loan files
• Support process improvements within the mortgage operations team
