Drexel Building Supply is seeking a Cabinetry Category Manager to own strategy, performance, and growth of our cabinetry portfolio. In this role, you'll analyze sales and margins, shape product mix and pricing, and lead vendor sourcing and negotiations. You'll partner closely with sales, design, operations, and marketing to support projects, launches, and training while ensuring inventory and availability meet customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and lifecycle for cabinetry category across locations
  • Analyze sales, margins, and market trends to optimize mix and pricing
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with cabinetry vendors and manufacturers
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and operations to support projects and promotions
  • Develop merchandising standards, product training, and support tools for teams
  • Monitor inventory, lead times, and availability to ensure on-time delivery
  • Partner with marketing on campaigns, launches, and customer education
  • Track KPIs and prepare regular performance and forecast reports
  • Support key customer relationships and resolve category-related issues
  • Continuously improve processes and support team development in the category
