Flatbed Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed truck for regional and long-haul freight across assigned routes
• Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete accurate logs, trip reports, and electronic documentation as required
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company policies
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Manage schedules to meet on-time delivery and pickup requirements
• Protect company equipment and freight while representing the company professionally
