Responsibilities

• Safely transport freight across regional routes, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, coordinating with dispatchers effectively.
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving to comply with DOT regulations.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions, ensuring all cargo is secured.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately and provide detailed reports as required.

Required Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
