Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed tractor-trailers safely on regional and long-haul routes
• Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed freight per safety and DOT requirements
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and ELD requirements
• Plan routes and manage on-time pick-up and delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and required paperwork
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers about load status
• Care for equipment, reporting issues promptly to maintenance
