Branch Manager in Training

American Fence Company, Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager in Training to learn all aspects of branch operations in our construction-focused fencing business. Under the guidance of senior leaders, you'll rotate through sales, project management, installation, inventory, and safety programs. You'll assist with estimating, scheduling crews, overseeing jobsites, and ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role prepares you to run a branch, including supervising field and office staff, managing budgets, supporting a strong safety culture, and driving growth in residential, commercial, and industrial fencing projects.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through branch functions including sales, operations, and administration
• Assist with estimating, bidding, and tracking fencing and security projects
• Support scheduling of crews, equipment, and materials
• Monitor jobsite safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to meet deadlines
• Help manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
• Contribute to customer service, issue resolution, and relationship building
• Track basic branch performance metrics such as costs and productivity
• Prepare reports and documentation for projects and operations
• Develop leadership skills to supervise field and office staff in the future
