Sales Consultant

Wellsville Carpet Town Inc, a family-owned flooring and furniture retailer, is seeking a Sales Consultant to deliver outstanding in-store customer experiences. In this on-site role, you'll greet shoppers, assess their flooring and home furnishing needs, and guide them through options in carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, furniture, and mattresses. You'll provide quotes, process orders, and follow up on leads while learning our products and sales process through on-the-job training. Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers in the showroom to understand flooring and furniture needs
• Provide product recommendations, quotes, and design suggestions tailored to customer budgets
• Develop strong product knowledge across flooring, furniture, and mattresses
• Prepare and process sales orders, financing, and related paperwork accurately
• Follow up on leads and previous customers to drive repeat and referral business
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain attractive, well-organized showroom displays
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals with integrity and professionalism
• Participate in on-the-job training and stay current on new products and promotions
