Electrician I

Aramark is seeking an Electrician I to join our Facilities & Maintenance team, offering dedicated service in maintaining electrical systems that support a wide range of institutions. This role is critical in ensuring operational continuity and safety across our serviced locations, including schools, hospitals, and industries. Electrician I will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring all works are in compliance with the national safety standards. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
• Conduct routine maintenance and testing on electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards, including fire alarms and security systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems, replace or repair equipment, wiring, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and follow blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Coordinate with construction contractors and maintenance staff on electrical systems.
• Keep records of electrical operations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Required Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical works.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Good problem-solving skills for diagnosing and fixing electrical issues.
