Site Director

KinderCare seeks a Site Director for Pine City Elementary to lead daily operations of our before- and after-school program. The Site Director oversees staff, ensures a safe and engaging learning environment, and partners closely with school leaders and families. Responsibilities include curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, budgeting, scheduling, and family communication. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership in early childhood or elementary programs, a passion for child development, and the ability to build an inclusive, collaborative culture for children and educators.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Pine City Elementary site-based program
• Supervise, coach, and schedule teaching and support staff
• Ensure children's safety, well-being, and positive behavior management
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
• Maintain state and local licensing and regulatory compliance
• Manage site budget, enrollment, and resource allocation
• Partner with school leaders and district staff to align goals
• Communicate regularly with families and address concerns
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Promote an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment
