Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer for regional and long-haul freight across Western states
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
• Use ELD systems to maintain accurate hours-of-service logs and required DOT documentation
• Load, secure, and unload freight as needed, ensuring product integrity and safety
• Follow FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies at all times
• Plan routes to maximize on-time pickup and delivery while managing hours of service
• Communicate promptly and professionally with dispatch, customers, and shop personnel
• Report maintenance needs and mechanical issues to keep equipment in top condition
• Represent Sharp Transportation Inc with professionalism at shipper and receiver locations
