Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul freight across Western states
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight while following all route and schedule instructions
• Accurately maintain electronic logs, trip sheets, and required DOT documentation
• Secure and handle freight according to company and customer requirements
• Communicate proactively and professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures
• Protect equipment and freight through attentive, defensive driving and proper parking
• Represent Sharp Transportation with courteous, professional behavior at all times
• Support a family-oriented, team-focused culture and provide feedback to improve operations
