Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A tractor-trailer for regional and long-haul routes across the Western U.

• Complete on-time pickup and delivery of freight while maintaining professional customer interactions.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all FMCSA Hours of Service regulations.
• Secure and handle freight according to company and customer requirements.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and road regulations in varied weather and traffic conditions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations regarding schedules, delays, and equipment needs.
• Protect company equipment and cargo through careful, defensive driving and proper parking procedures.
