Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul freight across Western states
• Complete accurate pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and DVIRs
• Maintain compliant E-logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Secure and handle freight properly to prevent damage and ensure safe transport
• Plan routes and manage time to meet on-time pickup and delivery schedules
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and shop staff
• Follow all company safety policies and driving standards
• Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with shop for repairs
• Represent Sharp Transportation with professionalism at customer locations
• Support a respectful, team-oriented, family-company culture
