Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare seeks a Before and After School Teacher at IDEA Edgecliff to support school-age children in a safe, engaging environment. You'll plan and lead educational and recreational activities, supervise transitions, support homework and social-emotional growth, and maintain positive communication with families and school staff. In this role, you'll model KinderCare's inclusive, nurturing culture while ensuring health and safety standards, documenting child progress, and collaborating with colleagues to create a fun, developmentally appropriate program before and after the school day.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead developmentally appropriate before and after school activities
• Supervise children to ensure safety and positive behavior
• Support homework help and academic enrichment
• Foster children's social-emotional growth and inclusive play
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress and needs
• Collaborate with school staff and Kinder
• Care colleagues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Document attendance, incidents, and child observations
