Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Before and After School Teacher to support school-age children at Willow Glen Primary School. In this role, you will plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth. You'll supervise students during before- and after-school hours, ensure a safe, nurturing environment, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with school staff. You will also support behavior guidance, maintain classroom materials, follow licensing and safety standards, and contribute to KinderCare's inclusive, growth-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging before- and after-school activities for school-age children
• Supervise children to ensure safety, well-being, and positive behavior
• Support social, emotional, and academic development through structured and free-choice activities
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress and daily experiences
• Collaborate with school staff and Kinder
• Care colleagues to align programs
• Maintain organized, clean, and inviting learning spaces and materials
• Follow licensing, health, and safety regulations and Kinder
• Care policies
• Document attendance, incidents, and other required records accurately
