Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare is seeking a Before and After School Teacher to support elementary-aged children at Burchfield Primary School. In this part-time role, you'll create a safe, engaging environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth before and after the regular school day. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, supervising indoor and outdoor play, and maintaining positive communication with families and school staff. You'll model KinderCare's inclusive values while ensuring safety, following center policies, and contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused team culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before and after school in a safe, nurturing environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Support homework and learning enrichment for elementary-aged children
• Monitor student behavior and implement positive guidance strategies
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff about student progress
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and licensing regulations
• Maintain clean, organized classroom and activity areas
• Accurately document attendance, incidents, and daily reports
• Collaborate with Kinder
• Care team members to support program goals
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
