After School Teacher

KinderCare seeks an After School Teacher to support students at Baldy View Elementary in a safe, engaging environment. You'll supervise children after school, lead homework help, and plan fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage social, emotional, and academic growth. Partner with families and school staff, maintain classroom safety and cleanliness, and follow KinderCare's nurturing, inclusive philosophy. Ideal candidates have experience working with children, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping every child learn, play, and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in an after-school setting ensuring safety and well-being
• Lead homework help and academic support activities
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate enrichment and recreational activities
• Promote positive behavior, social skills, and inclusive play
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff about student progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
