Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare is seeking a Before and After School Teacher for Pewaukee Lake Elementary School. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging environment for school-age children before and after class, leading enriching activities, homework help, and play. You will support social-emotional development, follow school and KinderCare safety protocols, and communicate with families and staff. Working within KinderCare's inclusive, growth-focused culture, you'll gain professional development and advancement opportunities while making a direct impact on children's daily learning and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students before and after school, ensuring safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities, games, and projects for school-age children
• Provide homework help and basic academic support
• Promote positive behavior and manage group dynamics in alignment with school and Kinder
• Care policies
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, guardians, and school staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inclusive classroom or program space
• Follow all safety, health, and emergency procedures and reporting requirements
• Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and encouragement
• Document attendance and daily activities as required by Kinder
• Care and the school
• Participate in training and professional development offered by Kinder
