Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare is seeking a Before and After School Teacher for Stanwood Elementary School. In this role, you'll lead engaging, age-appropriate activities, support homework, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for school-age children. You'll communicate regularly with families, collaborate with teammates, and model positive behavior and social-emotional skills. Responsibilities include classroom management, activity planning, supervising arrival and dismissal, and following all safety and licensing standards. Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging before- and after-school programs for elementary-age children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Support homework and academic enrichment as needed
• Maintain positive, consistent classroom management and behavior guidance
• Supervise children during arrival, dismissal, and transitions
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress and daily activities
• Collaborate with center staff and school personnel to align expectations
• Follow all safety, health, and licensing regulations and procedures
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident documentation
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
