Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare is seeking a Before and After School Teacher to support school-age children at Ralph Talbot Primary School. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging environment where students can learn, play, and grow outside regular school hours. Responsibilities include supervising children, leading age-appropriate activities, supporting homework, and fostering positive social development. You'll collaborate with families, school staff, and KinderCare colleagues in a nurturing, inclusive culture with opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in before and after school programs ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Support homework help and enrichment activities to reinforce learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student progress and needs.
• Follow Kinder
• Care policies, licensing regulations, and safety procedures.
• Assist with attendance, sign-in/out, and accurate record keeping.
• Set up, clean, and maintain program spaces and materials.
