Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare is seeking a Before and After School Teacher for Glenburn Elementary to support school-age children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will plan and lead age-appropriate activities, assist with homework, and promote social-emotional development. You'll maintain classroom safety, build positive relationships with students and families, and model KinderCare's inclusive, nurturing culture. Collaborate with colleagues, follow licensing and safety standards, and contribute to a fun, learning-focused program that supports each child's growth before and after the school day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before and after school in a safe, engaging environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Support homework help and promote social-emotional development
• Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing standards
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff
• Communicate daily updates and concerns to families and center leadership
• Follow health, safety, and emergency procedures consistently
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program quality and curriculum
• Track attendance and follow sign-in/out procedures
