After School Teacher

KinderCare is seeking an After School Teacher for Atascadero Fine Arts Academy. In this role, you'll supervise and engage elementary students in a safe, creative after-school environment. Responsibilities include leading arts-focused activities, supporting homework, promoting social-emotional learning, and maintaining classroom organization. You'll communicate with families, collaborate with school and KinderCare staff, and uphold health and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in a safe, structured after-school environment
• Plan and lead arts-focused and enrichment activities
• Support homework and reinforce academic concepts
• Promote positive behavior and social-emotional development
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and behavior
• Collaborate with school staff and Kinder
• Care colleagues on program activities
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures
• Document attendance and incident reports as needed
• Participate in training and professional development sessions
