Teacher Before and After School Council

KinderCare is hiring a Before and After School Teacher at Newtown Elementary. In this role, you'll lead engaging, age-appropriate activities, support homework, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for school-age children. You'll build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff while promoting social, emotional, and academic growth. Responsibilities include supervising arrival and dismissal, managing behavior, following safety and licensing standards, and maintaining clean, organized learning spaces. Responsibilities

• Lead engaging before- and after-school activities for elementary-aged children
• Support homework, reading, and enrichment projects
• Supervise student arrival, dismissal, and transitions safely
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom climate
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff
• Follow all safety, health, and licensing regulations
• Manage behavior using positive guidance techniques
• Prepare and organize learning materials and supplies
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized program spaces
• Participate in training and professional development offered by Kinder
