Before and After School Teacher

KinderCare seeks a Before and After School Teacher to support elementary-age children at Camp Allen Elementary. In this role, you will design and lead engaging before- and after-school activities that support academic, social, and emotional growth. Responsibilities include homework help, enrichment projects, behavior guidance, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. You'll communicate regularly with families and school staff, uphold licensing and safety standards, and model KinderCare's values of nurturing, diversity, and collaboration while growing your skills as an educator.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead developmentally appropriate before- and after-school activities
• Provide homework support and academic enrichment for elementary-age children
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Implement positive behavior guidance and classroom management strategies
• Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and needs
• Collaborate with school staff to align activities with school-day learning
• Follow all licensing, health, and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate attendance and child records
• Set up, clean, and organize program spaces and materials
• Participate in training and professional development offered by Kinder
