Hawaiian Airlines is seeking an Airport Ramp Agent to support safe, efficient ground operations. In this role, you will load and unload baggage and cargo, marshal aircraft, operate ground service equipment, and perform aircraft pushback and towing in accordance with strict safety and security standards. You will work outdoors in varying weather, collaborate closely with flight and gate teams, and provide service that reflects our aloha values. Responsibilities
- Safely marshal aircraft to and from gates following all FAA, TSA, and company procedures
- Load, unload, and sort baggage, cargo, and mail, ensuring proper weight and balance distribution
- Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, bag carts, and ground power units
- Conduct basic aircraft walk-arounds and visual checks to identify potential safety hazards on the ramp
- Set up and remove chocks, cones, and safety barriers around aircraft and equipment
- Assist with connecting and disconnecting ground power, air conditioning, and other support systems
- Work efficiently to meet scheduled aircraft turnaround times and on-time departure goals
- Follow strict safety, security, and hazardous materials handling procedures at all times
- Communicate clearly with flight crews, gate agents, and ramp team members via radio and hand signals
- Provide courteous assistance to customers with special baggage needs, oversized items, and mobility devices
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a high level of situational awareness
- Participate in required training, safety briefings, and recurrent certifications as needed
