Automotive Technician I

Cox Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician I to perform inspections, routine maintenance, and light repairs on a wide range of vehicles supporting our remarketing and retail operations. In this entry-level, shop-based role, you'll complete oil and fluid services, tire work, brake checks, and basic diagnostics using modern tools and equipment. You'll document repairs in our systems, follow strict safety and quality standards, and collaborate with experienced technicians who will help you grow. Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and light repairs on a variety of vehicles in a shop environment.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify basic mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete oil changes, tire services, brake checks, fluid exchanges, and safety inspections.
• Document work performed accurately in work order and shop systems.
• Follow all Cox Automotive safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors, teammates, and supervisors on vehicle status.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.
• Support senior technicians and participate in ongoing technical training and development.
• Adhere to productivity and quality metrics while meeting turnaround time expectations.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service when interacting with internal and external customers.
