Senior Greenskeeper

Marriott is seeking a Senior Greenskeeper to lead daily turf care and landscaping at our resort golf facilities. In this role, you'll supervise grounds staff, schedule and perform mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control to ensure championship-level playing conditions. You'll operate and maintain equipment, monitor course conditions, and coordinate with golf operations to support tournaments and guest play. You'll also help train staff in safety and quality standards, supporting Marriott's culture of service excellence, teamwork, and long-term professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily turf care and greens maintenance to ensure premium playing conditions
• Supervise, train, and schedule grounds and greenskeeping staff
• Monitor and operate irrigation systems, adjusting for weather and turf needs
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control products per safety standards
• Operate and oversee maintenance of mowers, tractors, and related equipment
• Inspect course conditions and address issues affecting playability and safety
• Coordinate with golf operations for tournaments, tee times, and course setup
• Maintain landscaping around greens, tees, bunkers, and guest areas
• Track materials usage and assist with inventory and basic budget inputs
• Support Marriott safety, quality, and guest service standards on the course
