What You ll Do

• Perform adult cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG and valve repair/replacement
• Conduct general thoracic surgeries, including VATS decortication and lung biopsies
• Manage ICU care for high-risk patients, including Impella procedures and medical stabilization
• Support structural heart procedures in hybrid and cath lab environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document procedures efficiently using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in a team-focused environment, supporting the hospital s cardiac care units

What You Need
Required

• Active medical license in Kentucky or ability to obtain
• Significant experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
• Skills in ICU management of critically ill patients
• Ability to perform complex procedures such as CABG, valve surgeries, and thoracic interventions

Preferred

• Board certification in surgery or cardiothoracic surgery
• Experience with hybrid OR procedures and advanced hemodynamic support
