• Coverage Blocks: August 31-September 4, September 14-18, and September 21-25
• Schedule: Weekday inpatient rounding with call coverage; no weekend call
• Daily Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15-20 patient encounters per shift
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Setting: Inpatient cardiology with support from independent NPs

Job Requirements

• Board certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience required
• Active physician licensure and eligibility for hospital privileges
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong experience with inpatient cardiology, hospital medicine, and ICU-level care
• Comfort with non-invasive cardiology services, including echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology rounding and weekday call coverage
• Manage a steady daily patient load with efficiency and clinical precision
• Partner with independent NPs and the broader care team to support continuity of care
• Evaluate and treat patients requiring inpatient cardiology consultation and management
• Interpret and support non-invasive cardiology testing and related clinical findings
• Respond to STEMI and other urgent inpatient cardiology needs as appropriate
• Deliver high-quality care during assigned coverage blocks with excellent communication and professionalism
