Faith Technologies is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems on commercial and industrial construction projects. In this role, you will work with systems such as fire alarm, security, access control, data/voice, and audiovisual cabling. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, pulling and routing cable, testing system performance, and documenting work to company and code standards. You will collaborate closely with electricians, engineers, and project managers in a safety-first culture that emphasizes training, continuous improvement, and advancement opportunities into specialized or leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Install, route, and secure low-voltage cabling for data, voice, security, and fire alarm systems
- Terminate, label, and dress cables, panels, and devices to company and industry standards
- Interpret blueprints, floor plans, and riser diagrams to lay out system pathways and device locations
- Test, troubleshoot, and document performance of low-voltage systems and cabling
- Assist with startup, programming support, and coordination with electricians and other trades
- Ensure all work complies with codes, specifications, and Faith Technologies safety policies
- Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite organization to support efficient project delivery
- Communicate progress, issues, and material needs with foremen, project managers, and clients
