- Set up and run production on all machines while managing tool conditions; follow and develop standard work for setup, inspection, and deburring
- Set up and operate machine tools, including lathes, grinders, and CNC machines (CNC Horizontal, CNC Vertical, CNC Turning), across at least three categories of machines (manual machining, turning centers, lathe machines, grinders, etc.)
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job, and use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specified tolerances
- Operate machines to manufacture parts, following detailed blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards; identify and report defects or issues and necessary adjustments or repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on machine tools, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, make minor repairs or adjustments, and report significant malfunctions to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate production records, including job setup, run times, and material usage; complete production logs, work orders, and other required paperwork accurately
- Collaborate with colleagues, engineers, and supervisors to optimize processes, resolve production challenges, and contribute ideas in team meetings
- Participate in training programs and monthly EHS trainings; follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE, and report safety hazards or incidents promptly
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years' experience operating CNC Lathe machines in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses
- Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand the bill of materials and work instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
- Ability to problem solve, with strong verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability
- Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs individually and 70 lbs for a team lift
- Test PSI limit no greater than 30,000
- 2+ years' experience in manufacturing or other fast-paced operations, preferred
- General computer knowledge (e.g., log-on credentials/SSO, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)
- Ability to program machines with high complexity, independently, utilizing Mazatrol and G and M codes
- This position will be based at our site in Ivyland, PA, with no anticipated travel.
