Invasive Cath Lab Tech

Intermountain Health seeks an Invasive Cath Lab Tech to support complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. In this on-site role, you'll prepare patients, operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment, monitor vital signs, and assist physicians during invasive procedures while maintaining strict sterile and radiation safety standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for invasive cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment during procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and hemodynamic data in real time
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Assist physicians with device preparation, contrast injections, and catheter exchanges
• Recognize and respond to emergent situations, collaborating with the clinical team
• Document procedures, findings, and supplies used in the electronic medical record
• Perform equipment checks, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of cath lab systems
• Coordinate with nursing, cardiology, and ancillary staff to optimize workflow
• Support quality improvement and adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards
