Responsibilities
- Operate production and assembly equipment to manufacture premium windows, doors, and skylights according to established work instructions and quality standards during weekend shifts
- Assemble product components using hand and power tools, ensuring proper fit, finish, and alignment
- Follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and immediately report any unsafe conditions or incidents
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects, measurements, and overall quality, and take corrective action or escalate issues as needed
- Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and basic drawings to meet daily and weekly output goals
- Handle, move, and stage raw materials, parts, and finished goods in an organized and safe manner
- Accurately record production data, counts, and quality checks using paper forms or basic computer/scan systems
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, helping identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Keep work areas clean and organized, performing basic equipment checks and routine housekeeping throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to resolve production issues and support a positive, people-first work environment
