Mechanic

Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Mechanic to maintain and repair construction and commercial landscaping equipment supporting high-profile outdoor projects. In this safety-first, team-oriented role, you'll inspect, diagnose, and service mowers, trenchers, loaders, trucks, and irrigation tools, performing both preventive maintenance and complex repairs. Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction and landscape equipment, including mowers, trenchers, loaders, and trucks
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, lubrication, and adjustments to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and small engine issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and inspection documentation in accordance with company standards
• Prioritize and respond to service requests from field crews to keep projects on schedule
• Ensure all repairs and shop practices follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and modification for specific landscape and construction projects
• Coordinate with supervisors to schedule maintenance around production needs and equipment availability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard work area
• Support training of operators on basic equipment care, inspection, and safe operation
