Floor Manager

Cara Veterinary seeks a Floor Manager to lead daily operations in a busy neighborhood animal hospital. You'll oversee client flow, staff scheduling, and front-desk and treatment-area coordination to ensure smooth, compassionate care. Responsibilities include supervising support staff, coaching team members, resolving client concerns, and upholding medical and service standards. You'll partner closely with veterinarians and leadership, support training and process improvements, and help maintain a positive, collaborative culture focused on pet health, client experience, and staff well-being.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations to ensure efficient, compassionate patient and client flow
• Supervise, coach, and schedule support staff to meet clinic coverage needs
• Coordinate front-desk, treatment, and exam-room activities with veterinarians and technicians
• Handle escalated client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Monitor adherence to clinic protocols, quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new and existing team members
• Collaborate with leadership on workflow improvements and operational projects
• Assist with inventory coordination and basic reporting on floor performance metrics
