Service Lane Porter

Carter Myers Automotive Group is seeking a Service Lane Porter to support our busy retail automotive dealerships. In this customer-focused role, you'll greet guests, move and park vehicles, and keep the service drive, waiting areas, and vehicle lots clean and organized. You'll assist service advisors with vehicle check-in, tag and document vehicles accurately, and coordinate with technicians to ensure a smooth workflow. This position offers hands-on exposure to dealership operations, opportunities for growth, and the chance to be part of a collaborative, high-energy team serving customers across Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers and direct them through the check-in process
• Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles in the service lane and lot
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, waiting areas, and parking lots
• Tag, document, and park incoming vehicles accurately for service
• Perform quick visual checks for damage and report concerns to service staff
• Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle flow and staging
• Support shuttle or vehicle delivery needs as directed
• Follow all dealership and safety policies while operating vehicles
• Monitor lot inventory organization and signage
• Provide courteous, professional assistance to customers and teammates
