Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Level I Trauma Center
Responsibilities: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Surgery, GYN, Endoscopy, and Pediatrics
Required Procedures: Level I Trauma experience required
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Medical Direction (loosely)
Days Per Month: Full-time; 40 hours/week guaranteed
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekend availability required

Additional Details:

• 6 12 month contracts with option to extend
• No 24-hour shifts
• No cardiac and no OB
• OT after scheduled shift
• Must be available to work full-time and Fridays
• 5 8-hour or 5 10-hour shifts
• Must have Level I Trauma experience
• Locum CRNAs receive the same permissions/access as permanent providers
• Flexible with RTO requests
• Carilion-specific skills checklist required
  
• Travel covered, including airfare, lodging, and rental car, or travel stipend up to $3,500/month
• Client responsible for application fees and credentialing/privileging costs

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active Virginia license or Compact accepted
• Willing to obtain Virginia license - Yes
• Level I Trauma experience - Required
