Aalberts Hydronic Flow Control, Inc. seeks an Assembly Technician to build and inspect hydronic valves, fittings, and control components used in advanced heating, cooling, and water distribution systems. In this role, you will follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings, use hand and measuring tools, and perform in-process quality checks to ensure precise, reliable assemblies. You'll work on-site in a lean, safety-focused manufacturing environment that values accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, contributing directly to sustainable, high-performance building solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assemble hydronic valves, fittings, and control components per work instructions and engineering drawings
- Use hand tools, torque tools, and basic measuring devices to complete precise mechanical assembly
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality, dimensions, and functional performance
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and 5
- S/lean manufacturing practices
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and labels for traceability
- Perform basic equipment setup, changeovers, and routine preventive checks
- Report defects, nonconformances, and improvement ideas to supervisors promptly
