Lead Welder

Anderson Dahlen is seeking a Lead Welder to oversee welding on custom stainless steel equipment for food, pharmaceutical, and industrial customers. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, set up and operate welding equipment, and ensure weld quality and code compliance. You will mentor welders, coordinate with engineering and fabrication teams, and drive continuous improvement in processes, quality, and safety. Responsibilities

• Lead welding on custom stainless steel fabrication projects for food, pharma, and industrial clients
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan work
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and fixtures
• Inspect welds for quality, precision, and compliance with codes and company standards
• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to welders and fabricators
• Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to meet project deadlines
• Enforce safety practices, PPE use, and compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Recommend process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput
