Embroidery Supervisor

Will Customized Products in St. Paul, MN seeks an Embroidery Supervisor to lead daily operations of our embroidery department. You'll coordinate workflow, assign and train team members, and ensure every custom nameplate or identification product meets strict quality, accuracy, and delivery standards. Responsibilities include overseeing machine setup, monitoring quality, resolving production issues, and supporting preventative maintenance. You'll collaborate closely with other production areas, champion safety and continuous improvement, and help sustain a culture built on craftsmanship, reliability, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the embroidery department to meet quality, schedule, and safety goals
• Assign, train, and guide team members on embroidery equipment, setup, and production standards
• Review work orders and specifications to ensure accurate setup, thread selection, and placement
• Monitor production quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate workflow with other production areas to ensure on-time delivery of custom products
• Maintain and update production records, counts, and basic reports for jobs and materials
• Oversee routine care and basic maintenance of embroidery machines and tools
• Support continuous improvement efforts in process efficiency, quality, and waste reduction
• Communicate status, issues, and priorities with supervisors and cross-functional teams
• Help uphold a culture of craftsmanship, safety, and customer focus
