Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts to specification.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan machining operations.
- Measure and inspect finished components using precision tools to ensure quality and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings, offsets, and tooling to optimize performance and part quality.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve machining processes and workflows.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, and maintenance records.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Required Skills
- CNC machine setup and operation
- G-code programming and editing
- Blueprint and technical drawing reading
- Use of precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
