Supreme Machined Products is seeking a hands-on 3rd Shift Supervisor to lead precision machining operations in our advanced manufacturing facility. This role oversees night-shift production of close-tolerance components for aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial customers. Responsibilities include scheduling work, monitoring CNC machining performance, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting a small team of machinists and operators. The supervisor will drive 5S and continuous improvement, coordinate with engineering and quality, and provide clear shift handoffs. Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate 3rd shift machining and production operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals
  • Assign work, monitor throughput, and adjust priorities to maintain flow across CNC and support processes
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and customer specifications
  • Train, coach, and support operators and technicians in machining best practices and safety
  • Monitor machine performance, address basic issues, and escalate maintenance needs
  • Verify completion of setups, first-piece inspections, and in-process checks
  • Maintain accurate shift documentation, production reporting, and handoff communication
  • Drive 5
  • S, continuous improvement, and corrective actions on the shop floor
  • Enforce safety policies, conduct walk-throughs, and promote a safe work culture
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and management to resolve production problems

Required Skills
