Welder

StageRight is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team producing high-quality staging, risers, platforms, and seating systems. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, measure, cut, fit, and weld steel and aluminum components to precise specifications, ensuring structural integrity and a clean finish. You'll inspect welds, follow strict safety standards, and collaborate with a team focused on reliability, craftsmanship, and innovation. This position offers hands-on experience building products used in schools, houses of worship, performance venues, and major event spaces nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders for staging and seating components
• Perform MIG/TIG welding on steel and aluminum to specified tolerances
• Measure, cut, fit, and position materials using hand and power tools
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance; correct defects as needed
• Set up and operate welding equipment, jigs, and fixtures safely
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe material handling
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve fabrication issues
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform basic equipment maintenance
