Production Set Up & Operate

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc, a leader in high-quality cable carriers and machine protection systems, is seeking a Production Set Up & Operate professional. In this on-site role, you will set up and operate manufacturing equipment to produce precision components that support advanced production processes. Responsibilities include configuring machines per work orders, performing changeovers, troubleshooting minor issues, and conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet strict standards. You will follow safety and 5S practices, complete production documentation, and collaborate with a team in an innovative, continuous-improvement culture that supports skill growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery to manufacture cable carriers and related components
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to configure equipment correctly
• Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to maintain quality output
• Monitor production runs, inspect parts, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards
• Complete production logs, maintain accurate counts, and report issues to supervisors
• Follow 5
• S, lean, and continuous improvement practices on the production line
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning on assigned equipment
• Collaborate with team members and technicians to resolve equipment and process issues
• Adhere to all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements
• Support training of new operators on setup, operation, and quality procedures
