Quality Inspector/CWI

Veritas Steel LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector/CWI to ensure the highest standards in complex steel bridge and structural fabrication. In this role, you will perform dimensional and visual inspections, interpret weld symbols and fabrication drawings, and verify compliance with codes, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures. You will document inspection results, support nonconformance investigations, and collaborate with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve issues. Working in a safety-first, team-oriented environment, you'll help drive continuous improvement and uphold the quality and reliability of critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of steel bridge and structural components
• Interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings to verify conformance
• Inspect welds and base metal per applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications
• Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and generate reports
• Identify nonconformances and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality issues
• Verify adherence to internal quality procedures and safety requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
